  • The NTS®-PU-M is a Marine Breakaway Coupling, also known as a Marine Breakaway Coupler or Emergency Release Coupler. Developed by our company especially for harsh marine conditions, its robustness and vigorous resistance to saltwater corrosion makes it the ideal breakaway coupling for offshore applications. The NTS®-PU-M ensures non-destructive, safe separation in hazardous situations, also allowing for rapid and easy reassembly.

ARTA Emergency Disconnect Safety Systems for Marine Applications

  • The ADGTM-M Swivel Joint by ARTA is designed to handle the demanding conditions found in the maritime sector, and reliably prevents torsion in hose lines and pipes, avoiding premature wear of pipe systems. The flexibility incorporated in its design permits rotational movements of different sections of the pipe in relation to each other. The ADGTM-M swivel joint is suitable for the transport of liquid, gaseous and solid media. Its robustness and resistance to saltwater corrosion make it the ideal swivel joint for salt water immersion and general marine applications.

  • The NTS®-MPC is an extremely robust and reliable Breakaway Coupling for offshore and onshore transportation of low-temperature media such as LNG and LOX. In the event of a dangerous situation, it separates safely and non-destructively. After separation, it permits rapid, easy reassembly. The cryogenic emergency separation safety system MPC is recommended for liquid and gaseous media down to -230° Celsius or -382° Fahrenheit.

Cryogenic Emergency Disconnect Safety System for Onshore and Offshore

ARTA Couplings are designed to withstand special requirements when handling media at low temperatures. That is why we have developed a product line which is optimized for cryogenic applications. Our ARTA Cryofit Couplings are suitable for transporting media down to -230° Celsius (-382° Fahrenheit).

  • Dry Break Coupling cryogenic sector up to -328°F (-200°C)

The ASK®-TT dry break coupling, for low-temperature applications, handles liquid and gaseous media in suction or pressure lines. Connections can be completed without drips, safely, and environmentally friendly. It enables fast coupling and uncoupling, even with filled lines subject to working pressure. Moreover, the integrated swivel joint minimizes mechanical wear to ensure a long life-cycle. Cryogenic dry break couplings are recommended for transporting LNG, LOX, and other liquid or gaseous media down to -200° Celsius or -328° Fahrenheit, respectively.

  • Emergency Disconnect Safety System with Cable Pull for Cryogenic Temperature Range to -230°C (-382°F)

The NTS-SZ-TT is a cable-release breakaway coupling utilized to transport media at low temperatures. In the event of a dangerous situation, the coupling separates in a safe, non-destructive manner. It may then be quickly and easily reassembled. Its maximum range of activation is 360° and the trigger mechanism is independent of system pressure. The cryogenic emergency disconnect safety system is recommended for the transport of LNG and LOX as well as other liquid and gaseous media down to -230° Celsius or -382° Fahrenheit.

  • Swivel Joint for Cryogenic Applications Down to -200° C (-328° F)

The ARTA ADG®-TT Swivel Joint for low temperatures controls premature wear by disallowing torque within hose lines and pipelines. The design incorporates an integral flexibility that also permits different sections of the pipe to rotate in relation to each other. The cryogenic swivel joint is recommended for transporting LNG and LOX as well as other liquid and gaseous media down to -200° Celsius and -328° Fahrenheit.
